How Lernwerkstatt Olten made customer satisfaction visible with hypt – and attracted new participants as a result

Initial Situation
Lernwerkstatt Olten is one of the leading educational providers in Switzerland, offering a broad portfolio of courses, training programs, and hands-on events. Their webinar series, in particular, regularly attracts numerous participants. To further enhance the experience of their live webinars and attract new participants, the team sought a way to systematically collect qualified feedback and effectively showcase it externally.
Goal

Increase Google rating to 4 stars
The previous online rating of 3.4 stars had been dragged down by a few dissatisfied participants and did not reflect the high satisfaction of attendees – the goal was a visible improvement to at least 4.0 stars.

More participants through recommedations
Lernwerkstatt aimed to attract more new participants – ideally through authentic recommendations from existing customers

Improve course offerings through structured feedback
To continuously improve the program, direct, actionable customer feedback needed to be collected and made usable internally.
Use of recommendation and feedback solution hypt
Together with Lernwerkstatt Olten, hypt was initially implemented for the webinar series. After each event, participants were shown a QR code to submit feedback and additionally received a thank-you email with a personalized link.
The feedback survey was deliberately kept short and focused on the key aspects of the webinar. Satisfied participants were then automatically invited to recommend the program and leave a Google review.
Due to its success, hypt was subsequently integrated into in-person events and the regular course offerings as well.

Results

Experiences worth sharing
Within a short time, the rating rose from 3.4 to 4.5 stars, and the number of reviews increased nearly sixfold.

Over 1,500 written feedback responses
Numerous detailed webinar-specific feedback responses enable the ongoing improvement of the format.

High recommendation rate
Every third participant directly recommends the webinar to at least one other person, helping to sustainably spread the webinar offering.
Thanks to hypt, Lernwerkstatt Olten was able to systematically capture how participants perceive their webinars for the first time – and make this feedback publicly visible. The generated recommendations have already led to noticeable new registrations. Today, hypt is an integral part of their feedback and recommendation strategy – not only for webinars but for the entire educational offering. A project that demonstrates: visible customer feedback is the key to sustainable growth.
